About Joseph
Hello there
My name is Joseph Essas and I’m CTO of eHarmony, Inc. in Santa Monica, CA.
In my daily work, I manage a team of amazing engineers, and technologists – and we spend a lot of energy trying to figure out better ways to connect people together. Did you know, that around 1 million people got into long term relationship through eHarmony? And that those couples have 67% lower probability of divorce than general population? That’s what we do day in and day out.
I have tremendous passion for user experience in general and specifically how technology enables people to be more productive, efficient and gain more knowledge.
In addition to my love for technology – I’m a sports fan (mostly basketball and tennis) and love skiing.
